This year we are teaming up with Skate Like a Girl and Oakland Library (East and West Oakland branches) to get skateboards to kids in underserved communities and provide instruction on how to use them.
Because of the generosity of industry partners, each $60 donation made between now and the end of the year will provide a complete skateboard to a child in need.

WHAT IS IT:
Cowtown S.K.A.T.E.'s signature program, we developed Skateboard Angel in order to support partner nonprofits that offer children in underserved communities the opportunity to learn to skate. In 2024, this project provided new, high-quality complete skateboards to 1,778 kids in need. This year, with the help of our friends at skate shops across the country, we aim to exceed 2,000 donations!
HOW IT WORKS:
Through this program, we facilitate an annual donation drive to purchase high quality complete skateboards. We then ship the skateboards to Skateboard Angel affiliate skate shops who distribute them to their local beneficiaries and partner nonprofits.
It's all about coming together and getting professional-grade gear to kids who may otherwise never get the chance to discover the joy of learning to skateboard!
